Visiting the Hospice

At Rotherham Hospice

COME AND VISIT

Visiting Hours

Our visiting hours are designed to be flexible to accommodate the needs of both our patients and their families. You can visit your loved one daily from 8 AM to 8 PM. We understand that there may be special circumstances, so please speak with our care team if you need to visit outside these hours.

To gain access out of hours, visitors can call the visitor bell located in the main entrance and will be given access by our nursing team.

All visitors are required to sign in on arrival using our system and sign out on leaving.

Special Arrangements

We recognise that some situations require special arrangements, such as end-of-life visits or special celebrations. Please speak with our staff to make any necessary arrangements. We strive to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.

Limited sleeping accommodation is available for family members but every effort will be made to support you to stay with your loved one if you choose to. Please feel free to discuss this with any member of the nursing staff. We understand that very often the family has been providing much of the patient’s care at home and we encourage family, if they wish, to continue to be involved in the patient’s care, though there is no obligation to do so. How much you want to be involved will be discussed with you and the patient on admission.

Welcome to Rotherham Hospice
