Hospice at Home
With Rotherham Hospice
Bringing Compassionate Care to You
Our Hospice at Home team is here to support patients in the comfort of their own homes or in Care Homes, helping fulfill their wishes to stay in familiar surroundings. We understand that this can be a challenging time, so our team is dedicated to providing the right level of care and support for both patients and their families.
By offering expert assessment and symptom management at home, we ensure that patients receive the personalised, compassionate care they need—wherever they feel most at ease.
The Hospice at Home team can help with a variety of issues including:
- Managing symptoms such as pain, fatigue, sickness
- Offer emotional and psychological support
- Support in planning for the future
- Assessment of mobility needs
- Assessment of any adaptions needed around the home
- To signpost to other services, either within the hospice or to other external agencies
- Giving of advice via the 24hr 7 day a week community advice line
Here for you, day and night
When you’re caring for someone, or living with a life-limiting illness yourself, worries don’t keep office hours. That’s why our advice line is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Whether you need urgent advice on symptoms or medication, reassurance in the middle of the night, or simply aren’t sure who to turn to — our experienced team is only a phone call away. You don’t need to be known to the hospice to get in touch.
Call us any time on 01709 966 100.
No question is too small. If something’s worrying you, we’d rather you called.
Just drop in the number and you’re set — and tell me if the helpline is only for existing patients and carers, as I’ve written it as open to anyone and can tighten that line if not.
How can you help?
There are many ways you can support us, whether it be through holding an event, playing in our lottery, volunteering, or donating!
