Inpatient unit

At Rotherham Hospice

Compassionate, Personalised Care 24/7

Our purpose-built Inpatient Unit is a place of warmth and comfort, with expert care available around the clock. Each of our 14 private rooms has ensuite facilities and is designed to feel more like home than hospital — because here, the focus is always on the person, not just their illness.

Some patients stay with us for a short while to get pain and symptoms under control before returning home. For others, the unit offers a safe, welcoming space to receive compassionate care in their final days. Whatever brings you to us, our team is here for the whole of you — and your loved ones too — supporting emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing alongside physical care.

As an independent charity, everything we provide is completely free for patients and families, made possible by the generosity of our community.
