Bereavement support
At Rotherham Hospice
Bereavement Support Services
Our Bereavement Support Services are provided by a wonderful team of trained Bereavement Support Volunteers who meet with our patients’ family members or significant others over the age of 18 for one-to-one sessions at Rotherham Hospice or, via telephone. Sessions last around one hour each and will be arranged at a mutually convenient time.
We know from experience and feedback that some of the most meaningful support following bereavement is through connecting with others who have had a similar experience. Bereavement groups take place at the Hospice every 2 weeks.
Our Bereavement Café takes place once per month, for 2 hours, to drop in for support.
