At Rotherham Hospice
Types of volunteering
Volunteering for Rotherham Hospice is enjoyable and rewarding but it’s not for everyone. For this reason we have a selection procedure in place that includes an interview and attendance at an induction course. This procedure will help you recognise whether volunteer work at the Hospice is right for you.
Volunteers involved in patient care areas may also need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Check. Don’t let this deter you – it’s not as bad as it sounds, and our friendly Volunteer Services staff will help you complete the form if needed.
If you would like more information on volunteering, and how to apply, please contact our HR and Volunteer Advisors by clicking here.
