Summer Fair

Come and see us this summer

Come and celebrate with us this summer. We’re throwing open our gardens and inviting the whole community in for a day of entertainment, food, fundraising — and a chance to see the hospice at its warmest and most welcoming.

Everyone is welcome. Bring the family.

Our Summer Fair is a chance for the Rotherham community to come together, have fun, and see a side of the hospice that might surprise you. Whether you’ve supported us for years or you’ve always been a little curious about what goes on behind our doors — this is your invitation to come and find out.

Set in our beautiful Hospice Gardens, it’s a proper afternoon out for all the family. There’ll be entertainment, plenty to eat and drink, stalls, games, and all sorts to keep everyone busy from 11am to 3pm.

And while it’s a fun day out, it means so much more than that. Every donation, every raffle ticket, every tombola prize goes directly towards the care we provide for patients and families across Rotherham. So you’ll be having a great time and making a real difference at the same time.

Opening Our Doors

See a new side to the hospice and help us break the stigma around end of life care.

Could your business be part of it?

We’re looking for local businesses, makers, and community groups to take a stall at the Summer Fair. It’s a brilliant opportunity to connect with the local community, showcase what you do, and support a cause that matters.

All we ask for is a pitch fee of £40 and a small raffle prize from your store.

If you’re interested in getting involved, get in touch — we’d love to have you with us.

Lend a hand on the day

Our Summer Fair couldn’t happen without the generosity of our volunteers. We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to help on the day — whether that’s running a stall, helping with parking, supporting the café, or just being a welcoming face.

If you’ve got a few hours to spare on Saturday 8 August and want to be part of something special, we’d love to hear from you.
