Sue Smith 'Mamma Sue / Nanny Sue'
25th April 1956 - 25th May 2022
Our beautiful, kind, fun loving a just all round amazing mum, nanny, wife and sister lost her 10 month battle to Ovarian Cancer in May 2022.
My mum was a true warrior, never complained and fought until the very end. Mum never wanted to admit that she was unwell, didn’t want to make a fuss and continued to do what she could until the very end.
Our mum was supported, loved and cared for by the hospice at home team initially and then went into the hospice for 15 days. The love, care and support all the staff offered my mum was exceptional and we will never be able to thank the team for their kindness. Mum was comfortable and we stayed by her side until the very end with love, laughter and tears.
A time we will never forget, but will grow to love in time! You will forever be in our hearts Mum. I am so proud of you and thankful for 35 years of the best mamma bear anyone could ask for.
