Hannah goes the extra mile for Rotherham Hospice
Would you run a marathon for Rotherham Hospice? Hannah Reeder is one of our brilliant runners who has taken on the challenge for the Hospice, running both the London Marathon and the London Landmarks Half Marathon in the same month!
This is Hannah's Story
In 2018 and 2019, Hannah’s family lost two incredible people in a short space of time. Her Godfather and honorary Grandmother were both cared for by the Hospice, which is why the Hospice holds a special place close to her heart. Hannah says:
“Rotherham Hospice wonderfully cared for my Godfather and my honorary Grandmother just before they passed away.
To show my appreciation and gratitude for the amazing care and support they provided my family, as well as others, I will be running in memory of those who are no longer here and to give something back.”
Hannah will not only be taking part in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on April 2nd but also will be racing through the streets of London yet again on April 23rd for the London Marathon.
Hannah has been running for over a year now and is part of her local running group – Rawmarsh Runners.
