Emily's glow from home

Fundraising Stories

Today we bring you the story of one of our youngest, and most awesome supporters, Emily!

Emily is just 3 years old and has already had to undergo surgery to deal with a severe club foot in both feet to help her to walk. She will have to have more surgery in the future. But that has never stopped her doing anything.

Her mum Kelly told us just how driven Emily is. And on October 4th this year, Emily took on the Glow from Home challenge, asked her friends and family for sponsorship, and successfully walked the front grounds of Wentworth Woodhouse, raising an amazing £58 for Rotherham Hospice.

Kelly tells us that Emily’s walk for Rotherham Hospice was the longest she has walked without needing to be picked up or wanting her pram! An incredible achievement!
Emily heard about Glow from Home at her school and decided she wanted to support our cause and prove to everyone how unstoppable she is!

We cannot thank Emily enough, and look forward to hearing about her adventures in the future!
