Christmas Fair 2015
2nd December 2015
Our Christmas Fair was held at the Hospice on Saturday 21st November. After high winds during the night, the marquees had blown across the car park, and the Fair was held completely indoors. This did not dampen anyones spirits, and everyone enjoyed the festive fun. Santa was in his grotto handing out presents to the children, the stalls were full of gestive gifts, and there was mulled wine and mince pies.
Hospice Head of Fundraising, Colin Cawood-Campbell, explains "When we arrived at the Hospice in the morning, we could not believe what we saw. The winds had blown down the marquees that we were going to use for the fair. We had no other option but to bring the fair indoors, which made it very cosy! Thankfully, it didn't put anyone off and we had a great day raising vital funds for our patients and their families."
The fair raised a fantastic £4009.00!! Thank you to everyone who supported the event. Please look through our photographs, and watch the video of the day to see if you can spot yourself!
