Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Rotherham Hospice is excited to launch the first ever Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge event!
Join the organisers as they prepare you for a challenging yet rewarding 12 hours in the Yorkshire Dales.
Climbing the famous three peaks, you will leave Horton-in-Ribblesdale at 6.30am to ascent Pen-y-Ghent with a sharp start to this challenge, then descending down to Ribblehead viaduct where you will start again to climb Whernside, the highest peak of the three. Finally, you will come to Ingleborough, but don't underestimate her distance and complexity.
And the challenge? To do all this in under 12 hours to be part of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks "club".
The event is supported by Exped Adventure, an experienced International trekking company who will support you on the peaks. They will be supported by a ground team of staff and volunteers who will meet you at points along the way to provide refreshments and support.
To get you ready for the challenge, special training days will be arranged when you can walk with the leaders and build up your stamina.
