Retail

Our charity shops play a vital role in raising money for Rotherham Hospice.
Rotherham Hospice has a total of six shops across Rotherham Borough. The shops raise significant funds for the Hospice and also provide a focal point on the High Street for anyone wanting information on our services, our fundraising events and activities, or how to help by volunteering or making a contribution.

Our shop teams are made up of a Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, and our dedicated volunteers. Anyone can become a volunteer and we are really lucky to have a team of invaluable and committed volunteers who support our work.  Volunteering in one of our shops can help raise much needed funds to help run the Hospice.  Our volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds.  You do not need qualifications to volunteer just a commitment to help.  If you would like to volunteer in one of our shops you will need to contact the retail manager on 01709 308922 who will be pleased to answer any queries.

What we sell
We rely on the generosity of supporters who give us regular donations of items to sell and of our increasing customer base – all of whom have helped our Hospice shops contribute thousands of pounds since they started trading. All our shops sell a wide range of donated second-hand goods including:

  • Women's, men's and children's clothing and shoes
  • Accessories including jewellery and bags
  • Household goods including kitchenware and crockery sets
  • Furniture (in some shops)
  • Decorative items
  • Jewellery
  • Books and toys
  • DVDs and CDs

Most of our shops sell a range of greeting cards and two of our shops, Wath and Maltby also sell furniture. We are grateful to all our supporters who donate good quality articles for us to sell. We always need more so please do donate your goods to us to help raise funds for the Hospice. Thank You!!

We're members of the Charity Retail Association.
