The Rotherham Hospice has links with community groups which generously give their time to raising funds for the Hospice. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Holding coffee mornings
- Selling Hospice goods, Christmas cards and calendars
- Organising raffles
- Taking part in events
Each group is autonomous and plans its own fundraising activities knowing that they have the support and encouragement of the fundraising staff. The group will determine how much time they spend involved on our behalf and enjoy themselves planning and implementing ideas and events for us.
If you are part of an existing group, or would like to join a group, and would like to know more about the Hospice and how you and your colleagues could support our work we would love to hear from you.
Friends of Rotherham Hospice Support Groups:
We are looking to attract groups of interested people who could be advocates for the Hospice. There are many activities that you can be involved in, from giving talks, manning a stall to collecting cheques on our behalf. Raising awareness is as vital as raising the money we need to continue to provide our services.
