There are a number of ways to donate funds and help the hospice.
*NEW* Donate online with PayPal:
The hospice is now able to receive donations online using PayPal. It’s an easy, convenient, and secure way to give your contribution. There is no set donation amount – choose for yourself how much you’d like to give. Click the link on our homepage to donate now.
Collection boxes:
Help us turn your pennies into Rotherham Hospice pounds! This year we hope to raise £12,000 from our collection boxes in homes, shops and businesses around Rotherham.
Have a home collection box. When it’s full you can either count up and send a cheque to the hospice or drop it in to the hospice or one of our shops and we will exchange it for a new one.
If you are a company or a business, you can display one of our collection boxes at your premises. Let us know when it’s full and we will replace the box.
Regular Giving:
Knowing that we have regular amounts coming in each month allows us to plan ahead more effectively. Even the price of a pint of beer or a glass of wine each month can make a huge difference to our patients, their families and loved ones.
One-off donations:
Send a cheque payable to: The Rotherham Hospice, Broom Road, Rotherham, S60 2SW. If appropriate, complete a Gift Aid form to increase the value of your donation.
Standing Order:
Contact the Fundraising Office and we will be delighted to send a standing order form for your completion.
Please do not send cash through the post.
Justgiving & Everyclick:
If you are taking part in a sponsored event, why not set up a Justgiving page online? Take the hassle out of collecting your money. Go to justgiving.co.uk for details.
Have a few minutes to spend online? Register with Everyclick and help raise money for The Rotherham Hospice as you surf the net. We have 43 registered users who have helped us raise over £120 so far! Visit everyclick.com for more information.
Gift Aid – make your money go further:
If you are a taxpayer you can add to the value of your donation without it costing a penny more for you.
The Government allows charities to claim tax relief on your current, future, and previous donations simply by filling in a Gift Aid form. The tax given back to The Rotherham Hospice is the money you will have paid to the Government as tax when you were paid. The completion of the form allows the transfer of the money from the government’s bank account to ours.
If you sponsor someone who is taking part in a fundraising event on our behalf by ticking the sponsor form and ensuring we have your house number and postcode we are able to claim back the tax you have paid.
A donation of £100 becomes £128 to The Rotherham Hospice – please help us to make your money go further.
